Stella was born and raised in Rome, but her passion for travel led her to the University of Cádiz, Spain, where she was awarded a grant to study linguistics while completing her B.A. at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. During her M.A. in Information, Communication, and Publishing Sciences, she earned three additional grants: studying journalism in Valencia, completing a curricular internship in Tenerife, and conducting academic research at the University of Lisbon. Her time abroad not only deepened her academic experience but also ignited her love for surfing, leading her to travel across Europe in search of waves and meaningful connections with people from different cultures. Fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish, she later pursued a First-Level Specializing Master in Scientific Journalism at the University of Rome La Sapienza and is currently writing for an Italian magazine. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Stella is passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, surfing, and music.

As an undergraduate, Paul focused on International Relations and European Studies, and was fortunate to spend time studying at Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in Italy and at Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata in Argentina. Since then, he has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America, and has come to appreciate the importance and value of being introduced to new cultures, perspectives, and experiences. While living in France, Paul taught English at a French secondary school in Capbreton, and he is currently teaching middle school Spanish in Buffalo, New York. He teaches Italian at the Italian Center of Buffalo and serves as a board member for the Buffalo Peace House, an organization dedicated to providing safe housing, meals, and services for asylum seekers in Western New York. Paul is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and French, and has previously led student programs in Italy, Greece, Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands.
